Stations heard at
any other location outside the Lapland DXpeditions
are listed here. The following DXing locations have
been used:

March 27-29,
2002: Långåminne
(DXpedition LÅ227 with Jim
Solatie) on the western coast of Finland
near the town of Vaasa, with a 1000-meter-long
wire at 285 degrees (rather useless on these
conditions), another 1000-meter-long wire at
255 degrees (good for UK stations), a 700-meter-long
wire at 233 degrees and a 400-meter-long wire
pointing south at 200 degrees.
- July 6-13, 2002: Gottby, Jomala,
Åland Islands, during a family vacation
at a summer cottage with Jim Solatie and his family.
Some DXing of UK and Latin American stations during
the nights, with a 200-meter wire pointing southwest
and 150 meters north.
- December 30-31, 2002: Långåminne,
a solo mini-DXpedition LÅ237, for 32 hours in
freezing -27 degree weather, antennas as on LÅ227
-
at all other
times: my suburban home in the city of Vantaa,
next to the capital Helsinki, with wire antennas
of 45 and 70 meters, and during the winter also
a K9AY loop.
