New Buenos Aires stations on 1260, 1420, 1430 and 1600 kHz

Radio Olivera is a new Argentinian station logged on 1420 kHz mediumwave. Radio Olivera's studios are located on Calle Castelli y Mercedes, Barrio Almirante Brown, Partido de General Rodríguez, near the capital Buenos Aires, in Argentina. The telephone number for the station is (0237) 484-2686. Information about the station has been published by Marcelo Cornachioni and Arnaldo Slaen on Conexión Digital in July.
Another new station on the capital AM dial is Radio Emanuel on 1600 kHz. Radio Emanuel is an unofficial Christian station, sharing airtime with nearby Radio Metropolitana, also on 1600 kHz. Radio Emanuel begins transmissios at 0200 UTC, when Radio Metropolitana closes down. Telephone number (011) 4232-7070 has been announced, reports Marcelo Cornachioni, who has heard the station since August 14.
Also, Radio Pasión is yet another unlicensed station operating in the capital area. Radio Pasión is reported by Cornachioni on 1430 kHz, simulcasting on 102.7 MHz FM. The station is located at Calle 803 Nº 1430, Barrio Dos Avenidas, (B1879MXJ) Quilmes oeste, Buenos Aires, telephone (011) 4212-3690. Station manager is Sr. José Luis Rovitto. Radio Pasión has been heard closing down at 0030 UTC. Earlier the same station operated under the name "Radio 2001" on 1400 KHz and 106.7 MHz FM, which was later changed to 94.9 MHz, before finally relocating to the current frequency of 102.7 MHz. According to Marcelo Cornachioni, there are currently two other AM stations in the greater Buenos Aires area on 1430 kHz, namely Radio Sonidos del Cielo (Rafael Castillo) and Radio José de San Martín "La Pionera" (El Jagüel).

In what has been a busy entry season for newcomers, Radio Oliva has been heard on 1260 kHz with Christian programming. Radio Oliva is operated by Iglesia Pentecostal Unida de la Argentina, and is located at Calle Fonrouge 76, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, telephone: (011) 4642-3680.        Finally, Hosanna AM on 1640 kHz has been logged by Cornachioni, broadcasting from Isidro Casanova, Provincia de Buenos Aires, announcing telephone number (011) 4467-2468. The station is not to be confused with Hosanna AM 1660, which is a different station from another location (Ezeiza). Hosanna AM 1640 is run by Iglesia Pentecostal Cristo El Rey, located at Calle Coronel Isleño 1918, Gregorio de Laferrere, Partido de la Matanza, Provincia de Buenos Aires. Hosanna AM 1660 is operated by Centro Cristiano Internacional Nueva Jerusalem.
