Pentecostal church in Colombia launches a rogue SW station

Radio Salem Stéreo is a new unlicensed station broadcasting from Colombia on 14,950.7 kHz shortwave. Salem Stéreo used to broadcast on FM 106.5 MHz from Rioblanco in the department of Tolima. Its FM license has been discontinued, but the station has emerged on shortwave without a license. The station was first picked up by several North American DXers from June 17, and identified thanks to recordings made by Swedish DXer Torolf Johnsson. Much of the research to the origin of the transmission was done by Swedish DXer Henrik Klemetz. Pastor Jhon Torres, interviewed by Klemetz, explained that the station resorted to streaming on the Internet after losing its FM license, and would apply for a shortwave license which would offer a better service for the local population. Salem Stéreo is run by a small Pentecostal congregation and is dedicated to spreading the gospel. Reception reports can be sent by email. Radio Universidad Nacional del Sur new on 1240 AM in Argentina

LRI218 Radio Universidad Nacional del Sur is a new AM station from Argentina, broadcasting on 1240 kHz. The station was first reported by the Grupo Radioescucha Argentino blog on July 15. The studios are located at Dirección de Prensa UNS, Avenida Colón 80 PB. (CP 8000) Bahía Blanca, with phone number 0291-4595058, but you can also email the station.
